Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how WeStorix uses cookies and similar technologies on westorix.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small data file stored on, or read from, your computer, phone or other terminal equipment when you visit a website. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, scripts and other identifiers. For convenience, this policy refers to these technologies collectively as “cookies”.
2. The rules that apply
Under the Danish Cookie Order, storing information on or accessing information already stored on a user’s terminal equipment generally requires informed consent, unless the technology is technically necessary to transmit a communication or to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Where cookie information is personal data, the GDPR also applies to the subsequent processing.
Accordingly, westorix.com places strictly necessary cookies without consent and activates optional analytics, preference or marketing technologies only after the user has made the relevant consent choice.
3. Cookie categories used on westorix.com

4. Your consent choices
When you first visit the website, the cookie banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or choose between purposes. Optional cookies are not placed before consent. Rejecting optional cookies is as easy as accepting them, and no optional category is pre-selected.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by using the permanent “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the website, or the button below. Withdrawal is effective for future processing and does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal. Necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the consent tool if they are required for the website or a service you request to function.

6. Analytics services
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics is activated only after you consent to statistics cookies. Google Analytics may process information such as a cookie/client identifier, session information, approximate location, browser/device data and interactions with the website. Google states that its standard GA4 first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id> have a default expiration of two years, subject to browser limitations and the website’s configured settings.
7. Third parties and international transfers
Where a third-party provider receives personal data through an optional cookie or analytics service, the provider may process information as a processor, independent controller or both depending on the service. Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Our Privacy Policy explains the safeguards WeStorix uses for international transfers. The consent tool identifies the relevant third parties and link to their current privacy information where appropriate.
8. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Browser controls operate independently of the website consent tool. Blocking all cookies may affect features that require strictly necessary cookies. Deleting consent cookies may cause the cookie banner to be shown again on your next visit.
9. Contact

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the website, cookie configuration, service providers or legal requirements change. We run a new cookie scan after material website changes and at regular intervals. The current version published on westorix.com will show the date of its latest update.
