Projects

Projects that prove the concept

WeStorix is developing more than 2 GWh of energy storage with grid-forming power conversion in Denmark. Each project is developed in a dedicated project company, on one reference design, and operated by the WeStorix Energy Management & Trading Center.

Project SATURN and TITAN

Three Green Power Stations in Denmark

Project SATURN consists of two Green Power Stations – in Hirtshals and Vejle – built on one reference design. Together they add 250 MW of grid capacity at 150 kV, 157 MW of grid-forming PCS (92 MW + 65 MW) and 637 MWh of energy storage in two regions where grid capacity is scarce. Both stations are designed as Energy Hubs, connecting local renewable generation and industrial demand behind one connection point.

Project TITAN is the third station and shows how far the platform scales. It combines about 365 MWp of solar PV with a BESS of 368 MW grid-forming PCS and 1,5 GWh of energy storage behind a single transmission-level grid connection, and supplies a data center of around 150 MW by a dedicated high-voltage direct line.

Together, the three stations add 535 MW of grid capacity at 132-150 kV, 525 MW of grid-forming PCS and 2.137 MWh of energy storage. The final investment decision is targeted for the end of 2026 for all three, with construction from 2027.

Pipeline

European and global pipeline

Two to three Green Power Stations a year, developed in parallel rather than sequentially.

Beyond the three projects in Denmark, WeStorix has identified further sites in Europe and other regions, working closely with local grid operators, municipalities and industry.
