Partners

Capacity and value you cannot get alone

Participation in a WeStorix Energy Hub gives producers and consumers access to grid capacity, flexibility and resilience that would take years – or be impossible – to secure on their own.

Each participant connects by direct line with its own protection, metering and delivery point, and pays only for the services it uses. Terms are designed to be better than the participant’s standalone alternative.

We look for partners who share our ambition of energizing a greener tomorrow – today.

For renewable energy producers

A route to market for new solar and wind

Grid capacity, curtailment and falling capture prices increasingly decide whether new renewable projects are built. A WeStorix Energy Hub gives producers a route to market through the Green Power Station’s grid connection, with storage that absorbs output the network cannot take and shifts it to hours of higher value.

What you gain

  • Faster access to grid capacity through a direct line to the hub.
  • Less curtailment and lower imbalance costs.
  • More stable, predictable offtake from consumers in the same hub.
  • Market access and optimization through the WeStorix EMTC.

Proof point: at SATURN Vejle, a planned 200 MW third-party solar and wind park is designed to connect to the hub by direct line.

For industry and Power-to-X

Capacity for electrification, now

Electrifying process heat, industrial gases, district heating and Power-to-X needs capacity the local grid often cannot deliver in time. Connected by direct line to a Green Power Station, industrial consumers gain capacity, storage-backed supply and access to locally produced renewable power.

What you gain

  • Capacity where the public network is fully booked.
  • Lower, more predictable energy costs through peak shaving and time shifting.
  • Improved power quality and backup supply for critical processes.
  • Direct access to local renewable generation.
  • Flexible consumption that earns value instead of adding cost.

Proof point: the SATURN Vejle campus includes an industrial gas producer, a district heating plant converting to electric heat and a logistics terminal.

For data centers

Grid-friendly data centers

A data center integrated in a WeStorix Energy Hub gets the capacity, resilience and renewable power it needs, and gives flexibility back to the power system.

For transport and maritime

Burst power for charging and ports

Megawatt charging for heavy-duty trucks, electric ferries and shore power create short, very high demand peaks that local grids are rarely designed for. A Green Power Station meets those peaks from storage rather than from the grid connection.

What you gain

  • Burst power for heavy-duty truck charging hubs.
  • Charging support for electric ferries and maritime operations.
  • Shore power for vessels at berth, with documented emissions reduction.
  • Peak shaving that keeps connection costs and tariffs down.

Proof point: at SATURN Hirtshals, port shore power, ferry and maritime charging and heavy-duty truck charging are part of the Energy Hub pipeline.

For grid operators and public authorities

Infrastructure that strengthens the public grid

Green Power Stations are designed to support the power system. The grid-forming PCS supplies inertia, voltage support, short-circuit power and black start, and each hub brings many producers and consumers behind one connection point with a single counterparty.

What the system gains

  • Stability services from a controllable, fuel-free asset.
  • Grid relief that can delay or reduce the need for reinforcement.
  • One counterparty at transmission level instead of many connection requests.
  • Private high-voltage connections with reserve capacity that can, on commercial terms, become part of the public grid over time.
  • Local investment and jobs during construction.
