Services

Energy Storage as a Service

WeStorix sells what a Green Power Station does, not the equipment itself. Storage capacity, flexibility and grid-forming performance are delivered as services to system operators, energy markets and the producers and consumers in each Energy Hub.

One asset, four service families

The WeStorix Energy Management & Trading Center allocates the same physical capacity between services hour by hour, so each station earns from several independent sources of value.

Four service families. Different customers. One optimized asset.

Energy Storage as a Service: one asset, four service families One Green Power Station delivers four service families, with capacity allocated hour by hour between them by the EMTC so that value does not depend on any single market. Utility support services - synthetic inertia, voltage and reactive power, short-circuit contribution, black start and system restoration - and ancillary services - frequency containment and restoration reserves, fast frequency response and balancing capacity - go to system operators (TSO and DSO). Energy market optimization - day-ahead and intraday arbitrage, shifting renewable energy to the hours it is needed - goes to energy markets. Power optimization and hub services - capacity via direct lines, peak shaving, backup supply, renewable optimization and tariff optimization - go to hub participants, the producers and consumers. The four service families

For transmission and distribution system operators

Utility support services

As conventional power plants retire, grids lose the properties that keep them stable. The grid-forming PCS in our Green Power Stations supplies synthetic inertia, voltage control and reactive power, short-circuit contribution and black-start capability – paid for readiness, delivered without fuel and located where the grid is weakest.

For system balancing

Ancillary services

Energy storage with fast power conversion responds to frequency deviations faster and more precisely than thermal plants. Our stations are designed for prequalification in reserve and balancing markets, helping system operators keep renewable-rich grids in balance in real time.

For a market with more renewable power

Energy market optimization

Our Energy Management & Trading Center optimizes each station across day-ahead and intraday markets – storing energy when renewable output is high and prices are low, and releasing it when the system needs it most.

For producers and consumers in the Energy Hub

Power optimization & hub services

Participants connect by direct line and receive capacity, peak shaving, backup supply and access to local renewable power, priced below their standalone alternative. Flexible consumption becomes a source of value instead of a cost.

Flexible access

Built for flexible grid access

Denmark is introducing limited and flexible grid access, which lets new projects connect faster by accepting that the system operator may occasionally limit their exchange with the grid.

For a storage-led Energy Hub, such an instruction is a scheduling decision rather than a loss of energy: the energy storage system shifts charging or discharging, and participants in the hub continue to be supplied. That makes our stations exactly the kind of grid-friendly, controllable connection the reform is designed to favor.

Flexible consumption, rewarded

Inside the hub, flexible loads – electric boilers, electrolyzers, charging hubs – are scheduled around renewable output and grid conditions, turning flexibility into lower costs for the consumer and more capacity for the system.

Flexible grid access: one connection, two layers A grid connection has two layers: firm capacity and flexible, limited capacity. Four steps show how a storage-led Energy Hub handles a limitation. One, normal hours: the full connection is available for markets, grid services and the hub. Two, limitation instruction: the system operator limits exchange for a period. Three, storage reschedules: charging or discharging is shifted and hub participants stay supplied. Four, upgrade path: flexible capacity can later convert to firm capacity. The diagram is conceptual; proportions are illustrative, not project data.
